Timbers Broadcasts

Radio
In March 2008, the Timbers entered into a multi-year partnership with Sportsradio 95.5 The Game, making the all-sports FM station the club's exclusive English-language radio broadcast partner. In 2010, all 30 regular-season matches and possible playoff matches will be broadcast live on the air; 26 games will air on 95.5 The Game and the final four games will broadcast on KXL 750 AM. In case of schedule conflicts on 95.5 The Game, Timbers matches will be broacast live on KXL 750 AM or Freedom 970 AM.

Additionally, streaming broadcasts for all 30 regular-season games and potential exhibition and postseason matches will continue to be available online at www.portlandtimbers.com.

Veteran Timbers announcer Andy McNamara returns for a 10th season and will once again be joined by John Strong, a Sportsradio 95.5 The Game on-air personality, in calling the action.

The Timbers have also partnered with Bustos Media and 910 AM + 1390AM ESPN Deportes to provide a Spanish-language broadcast of all 15 regular-season home matches as well as select exhibition and potential postseason contests. The team’s Spanish broadcast features the play calling of veteran broadcaster Arnulfo Alvarez.
