FSN to deliver five Timbers matches in 2008


PORTLAND, Ore.FSN and the Portland Timbers announced today the team's television schedule for the 2008 season, which includes a package of five Timbers soccer games televised throughout FSN’s five-state territory.
 
The five-game television schedule includes match-ups against the Vancouver Whitecaps on May 24th, a visit from the Atlanta Silverbacks on June 12th, and a battle against Miami FC on September 4th all available live on FSN.
 
FSN’s Brian Davis will return to announcing soccer play-by-play, after four years serving as the MLS’s Chicago Fire play-by-play announcer. Davis will be joined by former Timbers head coach, Bobby Howe as the color analyst for the entire five-game broadcast schedule live on FSN.

May 24             vs. Vancouver             7 p.m.
June 12           vs. Atlanta                   7 p.m.
July 10             vs. Puerto Rico           7 p.m.
Aug. 16            vs. Montreal                 7 p.m.
Sept. 4             vs. Miami                     7 p.m.
