Keita, the league’s scoring leader in 2009, returns for a second season with the Timbers in 2010.

 

2009: Was crowned the USL First Division Scoring Champion, scoring a league-high 29 points during the regular season ... Was a finalist for the league’s MVP award ... Received USL First Division All-League first-team honors ... Named the league’s Player of the Week in Weeks 7, 12 and 18 ... Also selected to the USL Team of the Week in Week 19 and 20 ... Recorded a five-point (2g, 1a) performance in a 3-1 win over Miami Aug. 22 ... Logged an additional three goals and one assist in the 2009 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup tournament ... Following the season was loaned to India’s Salgaocar Sports Club for the 2009-10 I-League season.

 

2008: Played for club Duli Pengiran Muda Mahkota (DPMM) FC in Brunei, a country located on the north coast of the island of Borneo, in Southeast Asia.

 

2004-07: Made his mark on the Malaysia Super League with Perak FC ... Finished the 2006 and 2007 seasons as the team’s leading scorer with 17 and 20 goals, respectively ... Captured the league’s Golden Boot award in 2006, finishing as the Malaysia Super League’s leading scorer ... Was a finalist for the league’s Favorite Import Player of the Year award in 2006 ... First joined Perak FC in 2004, and played a key role the team’s Malaysian FA Cup run that season.
