Biography: Jallow enters his first season with the Timbers in 2009 after playing the last two seasons in Sweden's top leagues. 2007-08: Suited up with Sirius IK of Sweden's second tier, and played in 31 matches. 2005-06: Returned to Sweden to play with top-flight club Gefle IF following his collegiate career in the United States. College: Played his collegiate career at the Univ. of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he guided the Panthers to four consecutive Horizon League championships. Consistently among the team's top scorers each season, he compiled 60 goals during his time at UWM. He was a four-time All-Horizon League selection, including first-team selections in 2002 and 2004, and a two-time Horizon League Player of the Year. Jallow was a three-time All-America selection from 2002-04. Following his college career, he was drafted by the San Jose Earthquakes in the 2005 MLS SuperDraft, but chose to return to Sweden to play for Gefle IF. Youth: Starting at the age of 13, Jallow played in the youth system of Sirius IK in Sweden. He was a starter and captain on Sirius IK's U-19 national championship runners up. He played for Sirius IK's men's team in the Swedish second division from 2000-01, scoring 12 goals in 30 games, before attending UWM.
