Savage returns to the Timbers in 2010 for his third professional season.

 

2009: One of only two players to appear in all 30 regular season matches for the Timbers ... Started 17 games for Portland ... Scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Montreal June 4 at PGE Park; was his first professional goal ... Recorded a two assist performance in a 3-1 win against Miami at home Aug. 22 ... Named to the USL First Division Team of the Week in Week 15.

 

2008: Selected 43rd overall in the 2008 Major League Soccer SuperDraft by Chivas USA ... was the club’s only pick in the draft ... Started three of his six appearances and logged an assist. CAREER: Played two seasons with the Central Florida Kraze of the Premier Development League (PDL) from 2006-07 ... scored 11 goals and three assists during his time with the Kraze.

 

COLLEGE: Had a successful collegiate career at the University of West Florida ... Accumulated 47 goals and 25 assists during his time at UWF and ranks among the school’s all-time scoring leaders ... Was a two-time All-Gulf South Conference selection ... Led the Argonauts to the GSC championship match and the NCAA Division II Final Four as a junior in 2006 ... Named a NSCAA/adidas All-American following his junior season ... Crowned the 2006 NCAA Div. II South Region Most Outstanding Player ... Honored as the GSC Freshman of the Year in 2003 ... Tallied an assist in the championship match to help UWF capture the GSC title in 2003.

 

PERSONAL: Majored in physical education at UWF ... His father, Bruce, was a defender for the U.S. National Team from 1983-92 and played in the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles.
