Biography:

Veteran midfielder/forward Ryan Pore enters the first of a two-year deal with the Timbers in 2009. He joins the Timbers after four seasons in Major League Soccer with the Kansas City Wizards.

2008: Played in 14 matches, including five starts, for the Kansas City Wizards ... Logged 485 minutes and an assist ... Also added nine goals over the course of the 2008 MLS Reserve Division and finished the season as the league's second leading scorer.

2007: Appeared in 17 matches (four starts), for the Wizards and totaled 456 minutes on the pitch ... He also notched seven goals and three assists in 10 games in the MLS Reserve Division ... was named the Wizards' Reserve Team Player of the Year.

2006: Established career numbers with the Wizards, playing 563 minutes in 19 matches (four starts) and scoring two goals ... Played in two U.S. Open Cup matches for the Wizards and scored against the Des Moines Menace (PDL) in the team's third round match ... Had a strong performance for the Kansas City Reserves, recording nine goals and one assist in 10 MLS Reserve Division matches.

2005: Played in eight games his rookie season with Kansas City ... He started in four of his eight appearances ... Made his MLS debut on June 4 at New England ... Logged his first MLS assist on July 4 at Colorado ... Scored his first professional goal at New York on Sept. 3 just :50 seconds into the match, tying the club's record for scoring the second-fastest goal ... Led the Wizards Reserves with six goals and one assist in eight MLS Reserve Division matches; his six goals ranked sixth in the league.

College: Was a standout at the University of Tulsa, leading the team in scoring each of his three seasons with the Golden Hurricane ... Led the nation in scoring (55 points) and goals scored (22) as a junior in 2004 ... Following the 2004 season, was one of three finalists for college soccer’s prestigious Hermann Trophy ... Finished his collegiate career as Tulsa’s only two-time All-American and was named the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year in 2003 and 2004 ... Tallied 51 goals and 21 assists in 63 games at Tulsa.
