Biography:
After his rookie campaign in 2009, Danso returns to Portland for a second season in 2010.
2009: Was a member of the Timbers backline that shared the league-lead for fewest goals allowed during the regular season (19) ... Scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 road win over Puerto Rico; it was Portland’s first-ever win in Puerto Rico ... Also tallied in an exhibition match against Club America Reserves at PGE Park ... Was awarded the club’s Community Player of the Year award ...
2008: Played in eight matches with the Cary Clarets of the Premier Development League ... tallied two goals from his defender position in 675 minutes played.
COLLEGE: Played two seasons at SPSU ... Scored 35 goals during his time with the Hornets while playing both the defender and forward positions ... He was a two-time All-Southern States Athletic Conference selection ... Named SSAC’s 2007 Newcomer of the Year following his first season at SPSU ...
