Frequently Asked Quetions:
I have reserved a 2011 Major League Soccer deposit. When can I select my specific season ticket seats?
While the specific date is still to be determined, we anticipate the seat selection process to commence during the summer of 2010.

How does the MLS seating priority system work?
When the Timbers MLS seat-selection process begins, priority status will be assigned to existing Portland Timbers season-ticket holders, followed by those who have placed a deposit for the inaugural 2011 MLS Timbers season. Priority status for Portland Timbers season-ticket holders will be determined by tenure with the club and the type of ticket package you own. Priority status for MLS deposit holders will be determined by the order in which the deposit was placed.

I am a current Timbers Ticket-Package Holder. Do I need to put down a deposit?
Timbers full season-ticket holders do not need to place an additional $50 deposit to reserve their 2011 MLS seats. Their full season-ticket payment for the 2010 Timbers USL season will serve as their deposit. If you do not renew your ticket package for the 2010 Timbers USL season, you will lose your priority status. Timbers half -season and flex plan holders do need to place a $20 deposit per-seat to ensure their 2011 MLS priority status.

I am a current Timbers Ticket-Package Holder. Can I reserve additional 2011 MLS Season Tickets above the number in my existing package?
You can secure additional 2011 MLS Season Tickets one of the following two ways:

  • Purchase an additional Portland Timbers full-season ticket for the 2010 USL season for each seat you want to add.
  • Purchase an additional Portland Timbers half- season or flex plan ticket package for the 2010 USL season and put down a $20 per-seat deposit for each seat you want to add.
  • Season ticket holders who purchase deposits in addition to their existing seats will retain priority 1 status for both their seats and deposits. (e.g., If you have two season tickets and two deposits, you will be able select all four seats at the same time.)

When will the PGE Park stadium renovations begin?
Initial development will begin during the Winter of 2009. These initial renovations will not affect the 2010 Portland Timbers and Portland Beavers seasons. The major structural renovations will begin after the completion of the 2010 soccer and baseball seasons and be completed by the inaugural Portland Timbers Major League Soccer match in the Spring of 2011.

While subject to change, planned renovations include but are not limited to: the addition of eastside stands that improve sightlines and put fans closer to the action, an upgraded audio/video system, an exclusive club and restaurant area, more premium seating, expanded plazas, a new, more accessible team store, covered seating for the majority of the seats and more. Please check back soon as more details regarding the renovation will be posted throughout the process.
